This song is about that child's-play type of violence that is innocent in its own demented logic. Shooting people in the face with arrows, cutting up them up and stabbing them ... just going nowhere, trapped in an endless loop of adventure. I was also watching a lot of 'Game Of Thrones' when I wrote this, which kind of explains the imagery.
It was a much heavier song at first but we shaved some of the big riffs off because it had too much testosterone. It feels nicer and much more fun to play now, however we kept the coda brutal because that's what Satan wanted. I stole the very end riff from a Megadeth song.
